"Jack Chamberlin - The Ghost of the Light House"
For many years, the legend of the Ghost of the Old Point Loma Lighthouse has chilled visitors to the old lighthouse overlooking San Diego Harbor. Mr. Talcott Bates was the first lighthouse keeper of record, and he lived in the lighthouse with his wife and two young children. In 1842, Mr. Bates' jealous lover, Alisa Barnway, bludgeoned him to death in a drunken rage after he refused to end his marriage and run away with her. As the legend goes, the ghost of Mr. Bates still rushes up the steps of the old lighthouse on foggy mornings, still true to his sworn task of protecting mariners from the rocky shoals guarding the entrance to San Diego Harbor. Even though the lighthouse has not functioned since the 19th century, as you can see from the photo, poor Mr. Bates does indeed rush to his duty on foggy mornings in San Diego. This is the first documentation of the actual existence of the ghost of Talcott Bates. This photograph is not a composite image and I have the original digital file to prove it. THE GHOST IS REAL!!
Believe it or not~! ^^
